Crimson Bird

Crimson Bird
phoenix

Flying above the city of On
she comes and goes where no one has gone

In the sky she will burn
and suddenly return

Cold heavier than her weight
heat makes her levitate

Thus the phoenix of light
disappears out of sight

Shifting through a dimensional gate
r’curring to her original state

Ph’los’phers knew long ago
what this bird had to show

The secret to unfold
is that she’s made of gold

Equidistant from its central point
the ends of the circle are conjoint

In th’highest form of stone
the atom sits alone
